Sadyojāta — The Instantly Born — Creation
ॐ सद्योजातं प्रपद्यामि सद्योजाताय वै नमो नमः ।
भवे भवे नाति भवे भवस्व मां भवोद्भवाय नमः ॥
oṃ sadyojātaṁ prapadyāmi sadyojātāya vai namo namaḥ
bhave bhave nāti bhave bhavasva māṁ bhavodbhavāya namaḥ
To the Instantly-Born (sadyojātaṁ) I surrender (prapadyāmi), to the Instantly-Born (sadyojātāya) indeed (vai) homage (namo), homage (namaḥ). In becoming (bhave), in becoming (bhave), do not (na) beyond (ati) becoming (bhave) — cause me (māṁ) to become (bhavasva), to the arising-from-becoming (bhavodbhavāya) homage (namaḥ).

ॐ वामदेवायनमो ज्येष्ठाय नमः श्रेष्ठाय नमो रुद्राय नमः कालाय नमः ।
कलविकरणाय नमो बलविकरणाय नमो बलाय नमो बलप्रमथनाय नमः ।
सर्वभूतदमनाय नमो मनोन्मनाय नमः ॥

To Vāmadeva (vāmadevāya) homage (namo), to the Eldest (jyeṣṭhāya) homage (namaḥ), to the Most Excellent (śreṣṭhāya) homage (namo), to Rudra (rudrāya) homage (namaḥ), to Time (kālāya) homage (namaḥ). To the Fragmenter-of-parts (kalavikaraṇāya) homage (namo), to Strength (balāya) homage (namo), to the Cause-of-strength (balavikaraṇāya) homage (namo), to the Destroyer-of-strength (balapramathanāya) homage (namaḥ). To the Tamer-of-all-beings (sarvabhūtadamanāya) homage (namo), to the Mind-beyond-mind (manonmanāya) homage (namaḥ).
अघोर

Aghora — The Non-Terrible — Dissolution
ॐ अघोरेभ्योऽथ घोरेभ्योऽघोरघोरेतरेभ्यः । सर्वेभ्यः सर्वशर्वेभ्यो नमस्त्वस्तु रुद्ररूपेभ्यः ॥
oṃ aghorebhyo'tha ghorebhyo aghoraghoretarebhyaḥ
sarvebhyah sarva śarvebhyo namaste astu rudra rūpebhyaḥ
To the Non-terrible (aghorebhyaḥ) and (atha) to the Terrible (ghorebhyaḥ), to those-who-are-non-terrible-terrible-and-other (aghoraghoretarebhyaḥ). From all-directions (sarvataḥ) O Śarva (śarvaḥ), to all (sarvebhyaḥ) salutations-to-you (namaste), O Rudra (rudra), to [your] forms (rūpebhyaḥ).

Tatpuruṣa — That Person — Concealment
ॐ तत्पुरुषाय विद्महे महादेवाय धीमहि ।
तन्नो रुद्रः प्रचोदयात् ॥
oṃ tatpuruṣāya vidmahe mahādevāya dhīmahi tanno rudraḥ pracodayāt
That Person (tatpuruṣāya) we-know (vidmahe), upon the Great-God (mahādevāya) we-meditate (dhīmahi). That (tat) for-us (naḥ) may-Rudra (rudraḥ) inspire (pracodayāt).

Īśāna — The Ruler — Grace
ॐ ईशान सर्वविद्यानामीश्वरः सर्वभूतानां ब्रह्मादिपति ब्रह्मणोऽधिपतिर् ।
ब्रह्मा शिवो मे अस्तु स एव सदाशिव ओम् ॥
oṃ īśāna sarvavidyānāmīśvaraḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ
brahmādipati brahmaṇo'dhipatir ।
brahmā śivo me astu sa eva sadāśiva om ॥
O Ruler (īśāna) of-all-knowledge (sarvavidyānām), Lord (īśvaraḥ) of-all-beings (sarvabhūtānām), Chief-of-Brahma (brahmādipati), Over-lord (adhipatiḥ) of-Brahman (brahmaṇaḥ). May-Brahma (brahmā) [and] Śiva (śivaḥ) for-me (me) be (astu) — He (saḥ) indeed (eva) [is] Ever-auspicious (sadāśiva) Om (om).
Śiva Namaskāratha Mantra
नमो हिरण्यबाहवे हिरण्यवर्णाय हिरण्यरूपाय हिरण्यपतये ।
अम्बिकापतय उमापतये पशुपतये नमो नमः ॥
namo hiraṇyabāhave hiraṇyavarṇāya hiraṇyarūpāya hiraṇyapataye ।
ambikāpataye umāpataye paśupataye namo namaḥ ॥
Homage (namaḥ) to the Golden-armed (hiraṇyabāhave), to the Golden-colored (hiraṇyavarṇāya), to the Golden-formed (hiraṇyarūpāya), to the Golden-lord (hiraṇyapataye). To the Lord-of-Ambikā (ambikāpataye), to the Lord-of-Umā (umāpataye), to the Lord-of-creatures (paśupataye), homage (namaḥ), homage (namaḥ).
Viśvarūpa Mantra
ऋतँ सत्यं परं ब्रह्म पुरुषं कृष्णपिङ्गलम् ।
ऊर्ध्वरेतं विरूपाक्षं विश्वरूपाय वै नमो नमः ॥
ṛtaṁ satyaṁ paraṁ brahma puruṣaṁ kṛṣṇapiṅgalam ।
ūrdhvaretaṁ virūpākṣaṁ viśvarūpāya vai namo namaḥ ॥
Cosmic-order (ṛtam), Truth (satyam), Supreme (param) Brahman (brahma), the Person (puruṣam) dark-and-golden (kṛṣṇapiṅgalam). The upward-flowing (ūrdhvaretam), the diverse-eyed (virūpākṣam) — to the Universal-form (viśvarūpāya) indeed (vai) homage (namaḥ), homage (namaḥ).
Rudra Mantra
सर्वो वै रुद्रस्तस्मै रुद्राय नमो अस्तु ।
पुरुषो वै रुद्रः सन्महो नमो नमः ।
विश्वं भूतं भुवनं चित्रं बहुधा जातं जायमानं च यत् ।
सर्वो ह्येष रुद्रस्तस्मै रुद्राय नमो अस्तु ॥
sarvo vai rudrastasmai rudrāya namo astu ।
puruṣo vai rudraḥ sanmaho namo namaḥ ।
viśvaṁ bhūtaṁ bhuvanaṁ citraṁ bahudhā jātaṁ jāyamānaṁ ca yat ।
sarvo hyeṣa rudrastasmai rudrāya namo astu ॥
All (sarvaḥ) indeed (vai) [is] Rudra (rudraḥ) — to-him (tasmai), to-Rudra (rudrāya) homage (namaḥ) let-it-be (astu). The Person (puruṣaḥ) indeed (vai) [is] Rudra (rudraḥ), the Great-being (sanmahaḥ) — homage (namaḥ), homage (namaḥ). The universe (viśvam), [all] beings (bhūtam), [all] worlds (bhuvanam), [all] wondrous-things (citram), [all] many-ways (bahudhā) born (jātam) and (ca) being-born (jāyamānam) — whatever (yat). All (sarvaḥ) indeed (hi) this (eṣaḥ) [is] Rudra (rudraḥ) — to-him (tasmai), to-Rudra (rudrāya) homage (namaḥ) let-it-be (astu).
कद्रुद्राय प्रचेतसे मीढुष्टमाय तव्यसे ।
वोचेम शंतमँ हृदे ।
सर्वोह्येष रुद्रस्तस्मै रुद्राय नमो अस्तु ॥
kadrudrāya pracetase mīḍhuṣṭamāya tavyase ।
vocema śaṃtamaṁ hṛde ।
sarvohyeṣa rudrastasmai rudrāya namo astu ॥
To-which-Rudra (kadrudrāya) the All-conscious (pracetase), to the Supremely-generous (mīḍhuṣṭamāya), to the Strength-possessing (tavyase). May-we-speak (vocema) the Most-peaceful (śaṃtamam) in-the-heart (hṛde). All (sarvaḥ) indeed (hi) this (eṣaḥ) [is] Rudra (rudraḥ) — to-him (tasmai), to-Rudra (rudrāya) homage (namaḥ) let-it-be (astu).
This supreme mantra-cycle reveals the five fundamental aspects (pañcakṛtya) through which Śiva-consciousness operates as the complete cosmic process. Each face (mukha) represents not sequential stages but simultaneous, interpenetrating dimensions of the one divine activity.
Sadyojāta embodies the spontaneous arising (sṛṣṭi) of manifestation from pure potentiality — consciousness appearing as world without ever ceasing to be consciousness. Vāmadeva governs the sustaining (sthiti) power that maintains the cosmic display in perfect balance. Aghora wields the dissolving (saṃhāra) fire that returns all forms to their source. Tatpuruṣa exercises the concealing (tirodhāna) function that veils unity in apparent multiplicity. Īśāna bestows the revealing (anugraha) grace through which recognition dawns.
The concluding mantras establish the all-pervasive nature of this Rudra-consciousness as both the cosmic Person (puruṣa) and the intimate presence dwelling in the heart-cave (hṛdayaguha). The final declaration — sarvo hi eṣa rudraḥ — affirms the ultimate non-dual truth: all this manifest universe, in every form and transformation, is nothing other than the play of supreme Śiva-consciousness recognizing itself as all existence.
